Individual generosity goes a long way here…

Individual Donor Options

Ways you can donate as an individual…

Financial Assistance

Donate by credit or debit card on our website at www.sharefoodsharelove.com. You can make a one-time donation or continuing donations based on a schedule that you create. You can also mail a check: Payable to "Share Food Share Love Food Pantry". Mail to: Share Food Share Love, PO Box 22, Brookfield, IL 60513-0022.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are a favored means of charitable giving. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic financial vehicle in which donors contribute money to an investment fund managed by a sponsoring organization. Donors can contribute cash and a wide range of non-cash assets, including stocks, shares of mutual funds, publicly traded securities, private assets, and crypto. Donors can then recommend grants be made to charities of their choice using money from the fund.

Donate Food

Donate non-perishable food by placing items in the donation boxes at the following Brookfield locations: Share Food Share Love food pantry -- behind our building in the alley. Tischler Finer Foods, 9118 Broadway Avenue -- west parking lot.

You can also bring any type of food to the pantry during the following hours:

Tuesdays: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Fridays and Saturdays: 10:00 am to noon

You can also make arrangements to deliver donations at other times by calling 630-347-5390.

Non-Food Items

While we do not accept donations of clothing, shoes or any furniture or household items, we do accept things like toiletries, cleaning products and paper products (toilet tissue, paper towels, tissues, etc). These items can be delivered to the Pantry via the same methods described under “Donate Food” above.

Estate Gifts

Designating part of your assets after death to one or more charities is a noble way to make an impact. And you don’t need to be a millionaire to do it. Including gifts to charities in your estate plan can alleviate any concerns about donating too much too early and possibly overextending yourself if you need your nest egg for long-term care or other expenses. You can feel generous now by giving later, while keeping a cash cushion.

Memorial Wall

A Memorial Wall in the pantry features plaques bearing the names of people who wish to be remembered by our supporters. A donation of $100 or more is required for inclusion of the Wall, however, this minimum can be reached through the aggregation of multiple donations from multiple donors.

Download our Donor Guide for Individuals, accounting for all of the above options.
