A great way to get involved — you can jump right in to contribute in lots of ways during the pantry’s service hours.

Resource Hub Program

We’re establishing a services advisory office here at the pantry. The office will be supported by the development and ongoing maintenance of a resources database. The database will pull together all relevant local, state, and federal services that are available to our neighbors in need. For more information about how you can support this initiative, contact us.

Food is Medicine Program

Within our transformed self-choice grocery store format, we are also better able to address related neighbor needs. Including “Food is Medicine” guidance and the provision of related higher-cost nutritional foods, fruits and vegetables. For more information about how you can support this initiative, contact us.

Community Outreach & Development Program

Our pantry serves a 15-village region. Within that region, over 7,000 of our neighbors are living below the poverty line. Over 80% live in just seven of our villages. Addressing the causes of hunger in our region starts with the understanding that we are all neighbors here. For more information about how you can support this initiative, contact us.

“Making people feel dignified while getting their food is important. It really is a non-judgmental place of kindness and love. Everybody helps the neighbors that come in looking for food.”
