New fridge units display respect for pantry visitors.

“It’s like going into Jewel. You get your cart and you’re shopping. You're seeing everything. You can pick what you need. And what you don't need, you don't take.”

— Neighbor in Need

When our food pantry converted to a “grocery store” format, the change uplifted everyone involved. The pantry now serves nearly 600 registered households within our 15-village region. A region where thousands of our neighbors are living below the poverty line. A region where the transformation of our food pantry to a grocery store format means more than we previously imagined.

We still have a long way to go with our transformation. If you want to donate toward this important initiative, or any one of our many other strategic initiatives, please check them out here.
